Elements of Design

Canvas, brush, a vision to impart
Elements of design
An artist of the heart
Line, placement, a visual path within
Where we are looking?
What draws the eyes of our heart to begin?
Shape, form, defined by what is seen
But God sees more than just the edges
He looks inside a heart, the part unseen
Color, intensity, the of value of each hue
Dimness and dark, brightness and light
Our hearts colors showing what is true
Texture, surface, the feeling of each touch
Rough, smooth, hard, soft
Or a heart of illusion that is as such?
Direction, path, the journey of our route
Vertical, horizontal, or diagonal,
Do we know where we are without doubt?
Size, dimensions, proportions to one another
What’s around us shapes us
Are the parts relating to the heart of the other?
Perspective, depth, that which reaches in
Background, middle ground, foreground
Where are we when we look within?
Space, expanse, capturing what it contains
Negative and the Positive
What does this space attain?
Designing, refinement, the heart of man
Is Jesus, the Master Artist?
The needed element to impart the perfect plan

  1. Howdy! This post could not be written much better! Looking at this post reminds me of my previous roommate! He constantly kept preaching about this. I’ll forward this information to him. Pretty sure he’ll have a very good read. Thank you for sharing!
