Mornings Light

Foggy, overcast, settled in the night
Watching sits the night owl
Waiting for mornings light

Distant, sparkle, glimmer of the morning star
Rising above the horizon
The light of dawn is not far

Autumn, colors, the blue bird sings
Melody that stirs awaking
More than one together the forest rings

Rising, slowing, a ray breaks through
Stronger than another
Breaking the mist with a rainbow hue

Softly, warming, moves a gentle breeze
Darkness gives way
As it blows through the trees

Lighter, bolder, streaming from the sun
Each ray brightens
As a new day has begun
