God Values Every Person

Relationships are difficult at times and can lead to frustrations and anger. They can be especially difficult when the moral compass of a friend or loved one clashes with our own, regardless of what end of the spectrum we find ourselves on. Maybe we have had enough and feel like giving up, saying it doesn’t matter.

Audrey Hepburn once said:

“People, even more than things, have to be restored, renewed, revived, reclaimed, and redeemed; never throw out anyone.”

How thankful I am that God thinks of me, in such terms.  “But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners. “ Romans 5:8

Can I encourage you that we shouldn’t give up either. God values every person. In some situations one may need to put distance between themselves and another person to make life healthy within the circumstance, but we don’t have to give up.  We can partner with God through faith,  not only to contend for restoring, renewing, reviving, reclaiming, and redeeming…but as well that God would continue to work those attributes in us as well. It is always much easier to look upon others with mercy and grace when we know the redemptive work God has done in our own lives and the forgiveness He has offered us.
