Free to Choose

We were created with a free will to independently make choices. The choices we make will affect our life, the lives of others and our eternity. Having a free will is a blessing but it is also a responsibility.

John 14:15 says “If you love me, obey my commandments.”

God loves us so much He wanted our obedience to be out of love. Love isn’t something that can be forced or controlled. Love is given, pursued. He was willing to give us the ability to reject Him… so that our love could be genuine in choosing Him.

So we have the choice to accept God’s love or reject it.
The choice to let God lead or to go it alone.
The choice to study Gods commandments or to not read the Bible.

When we willfully offer our life’s to God in obedience and study of His word we can trust in His faithfulness to reveal Himself to us.

John 14:21 Says “ Those who accept my commandments and obey them are the ones who love me. And because they love me, my Father will love them. And I will love them and reveal myself to each of them.”
