A heart of cultivation
Fruitfulness on the mind
A taste that seems so sweet
Turning of the soil a test in time

Hoping for a harvest
A basket so fine
Overflowing with fruitfulness
Growing from the vine

Never has the work been easy
A farmer knows there’s seasons in time
Long days that are laborious
Pestilence undefined

May my heart be open
The soil turned and true
Grafted in the vine
Where victory’s always in view

May fruitfulness come abounding
In the light of the Son
Working for the Gardener
As he cultivates my heart to become one
